Patterns are everywhere, shaping nature, the universe, our minds, and our behavior, offering structure, comfort, predictability, and sometimes the illusion of control.
My own relationship with patterns began in architecture, shaped by the precision of architectural drawings. Over time, I began to disrupt those patterns, letting them loosen and evolve beyond decoration. They became something deeper: vessels of meaning, meditations on infinity
Infinity Stairs
Stairs suggest movement, direction, and ascent. They connect spaces, levels, and experiences, offering a passage toward somewhere. But what happens when direction and destination disappear? The stair becomes a metaphor for navigating a world of infinite connections, where we search for orientation, progress, and purpose.
Villa Rotonda
A recontextualization of Andrea Palladio’s Villa Rotonda, one of the Renaissance’s most emblematic buildings, this pattern takes its cue from a simplified version of its highly symmetrical floor plan. Like Pop Art’s transformation of familiar imagery, the work invites a new look at an old symbol. Architecture becomes ornament, and history becomes design.
