Based on an ancient Balkan narrative song, it tells the story of a man who rises from the dead to fulfill his promise to his mother and bring his sister home from exile. The book blends Greek folk tradition with the contemporary visual language of comics, using the original lyrics as its text. A haunting tale of oaths, exile, lament, resurrection, and the bonds between the living and the dead.
